Jared Bowen has revealed that his father will make a very difficult journey to watch him and England play at Euro 2024.
The West Ham star hopes to be in England's squad for Sunday's match against Serbia, and his father will spend a tough trip with his friends.
Bowen's father, Sam, is going to travel from England to Germany in a camper van. The 27-year-old revealed that his father refused to buy a plane ticket to fly to Germany and instead wanted to embark on a 2,000km round trip.
LinkBowen announced that his father also does not buy plane tickets in Germany and is going to travel in this country with a van. Bowen told the BBC: "My dad is not a normal person. He got a campervan a few years ago because he's a big boater so he can take the boat with him wherever he likes.
