Screening Procedures in TSA PreCheck
« : 03 Август 2024, 09:39:12 »
TSA PreCheck is a program designed to expedite the security screening process for low-risk travelers in the United States. Screening  Procedures in TSA PreCheck differ from standard procedures, offering a more streamlined and efficient experience. Approved PreCheck members can use dedicated lanes, which significantly reduce wait times. Unlike regular screening, travelers in the PreCheck program are not required to remove shoes, belts, or light jackets. Laptops and compliant liquids can stay in carry-on bags, simplifying the process and enhancing convenience. These procedures not only expedite the process but also reduce the stress and hassle associated with airport security. To enroll, travelers must complete an application, undergo a background check, and provide fingerprints. Once approved, they receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN) which they can use when booking flights to access TSA PreCheck lanes. This program is available at numerous airports across the country.
