Having made his debut with Spirit back in July of last year at just 16, Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets has quickly become one of the most feared players in the Counter-Strike scene. With now five MVP awards to his name, the most prestigious being the MVP at IEM Katowice 2024, donk is going head-to-head with both Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov for the title of world’s best player. To start the year, Spirit and Donk were in prime position, having just added Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov to their ranks, the Russian-majority roster had a monstrous showing at IEM Katowice, but has since slowly started to fade.
With results getting worse and worse as the year progressed, demonstrated by their last-place finish in Cologne, Spirit and Donk needed to have a good showing at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 and they certainly did. After back-to-back poor events, donk was back to his usual best in Belgrade, averaging a 1.48 rating across the entire event, powering his side to another trophy lift. This gives Spirit and Donk a massive boost in terms of confidence heading into the next season of ESL Pro League coming up in just a few days. Let’s take a look at the skins used by the MVP of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2.
Throughout the event, donk was using his trusty pair of Minimal Wear Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze along with an M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web of the same condition. The Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze is a majority-green pair of gloves with a sporty design. This design has white stripes going down the gloves which provide contrast and cause the green color to pop. An incredibly eye-catching pair of gloves, to say the least, fitting for the flamboyant youngster who loves a good scream during his matches. A pair of Hedge Maze gloves will set you back just over $9K in Minimal Wear, a pretty penny for a pretty pair of gloves. The M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web is a beautiful knife with clean animations to boot. The finish features a crimson color undercoat and a black spider web design. A Minimal Wear M9 Bayonet | Crimson Web will set you back around $1.5K.
For his T-side rifle, donk was using an AK-47 | Gold Arabesque, an AK-47 that featured in our list of the ten best AK-47 skins in the game. (A list the young Russian star agrees with!) He was precise with his AK-47 all tournament long (as seen in the clip above), with the Gold Arabesque featuring a solid gold design, adorned with filigree accents. A Factory New AK-47 | Gold Arabesque, like Donk’s, will set you back around $3K.
In Belgrade, donk was particularly dominant on the CT side, averaging a 1.56 rating across the tournament. On the CT side, the Russian star was using his Factory New M4A1-S | Welcome to the Jungle, which alone costs just over $2.5K. What makes Donks so special is the four Reason Gaming | Katowice 2014 stickers that cover the weapon, increasing its value massively. Even non-holo, these stickers are worth over $3K each. The M4A1-S | Welcome to the Jungle finish features a wide range of pinks and reds, with ancient iconography covering the weapon as well as a golden pit viper acting as the centrepiece of the design. All this atop a dusk-tinted jungle background makes a beautiful design fitting of such a spectacular player.
Other skins used by the Russian youngster include a StatTrak™ Factory New USP-S | Printstream, a Glock-18 | Fade with four Team Dignitas (Holo) | Katowice 2014 stickers and a Desert Eagle | Printstream with four LGB eSports (Holo) | Katowice 2015 stickers.
