Also known as Junior Jetsetters, Alaska Airlines Unaccompanied Minor Policy is for children aged 5-17 years old. age, on both international and domestic flights.
The Unaccompanied Minors program is compulsory for children between 5 and 7 years old. of age, i.e., they are required to be in the company of an adult at a minimum of 16. For children aged 13 to 17 years of age, the service is available on an individual basis.
Alaska Airlines Rules for Minors (Junior Jetsetters)

Alaska Airlines Unaccompanied Minor Pol for travel by yourself is as the following:
 
•         Children under 5 years old cannot travel on their own unless they're with an adult.
•         Minors aged between 5 and 7:
•         You must pay USD 50 per way for each child.
•         A gate escort is required as well as a guardian contact
•         Only available on nonstop, direct flights.
•         It is not allowed to fly between 9 pm and 5 am.
•         Minors aged between 8 and 12 years old:
•         You must pay USD 50 per way for each child.
•         You must have a gate escort as well as a guardian contact
•         Only fly nonstop, direct flights.
•         It may not be permitted to fly between 9 pm and 5 am.
Aren't allowed to connect flights until the final morning flight and cannot be allowed to have layovers that exceed two hours, unless there's a no-alternative alternative

Minors aged between 13 and 17 years old (optional):
Pay
•         USD 50 per trip per child for direct or nonstop flights
•         USD 75 per way for each child per child for connecting flights
•         If you are using a minor unaccompanied service.
•         A gate escort is required as well as contact with a guardian
•         Do not take connecting flights that aren't the final morning flight and can't be permitted layovers longer than two hours, unless there's a no-alternative alternative
•         It is not allowed to fly between 9 pm and 5 am.
•         How do you book the unaccompanied Minor Service on Alaska Airlines
To reserve the service for unaccompanied minors e-mail the child you want to book:
•         Go to the official site for Alaska Airlines: AlaskaAir.com The Book tab will open automatically (if it isn't, click it)
•         Choose the trip details for your child as well as:
•         Choose 0 adults from the Adults box.
•         Choose the total number of children to be included in the Children box.
•         Just click on the Find Flights button.
•         Follow the screen prompts follow the on-screen prompts, choose your child's flight and seat, then pay

Remember
 
The fee for service for minors who are unaccompanied is reduced for children who have MVP(r), MVP(r) Gold, and Gold 75K miles Plan(TM) Status.
Mexico stations are not able to accept cash in USD but are able to accept Mexican Pesos or credit/debit cards.
Certain airlines might not allow minors without a companion to be booked on the same flight as Alaska Airlines flights. If a minor's itinerary contains flights not operated by Alaska Airlines then you must inquire with the airline directly.
At least 90 times for check-in procedures.
All procedures, including the paperwork, fees, gate passes, and other paperwork should be completed before the regular time limits for check-in.

Minors who are unaccompanied are not permitted to travel by themselves to and from Sun Valley, Idaho from the 1st of December to April 1st of each year.
Unaccompanied Minor Guidelines
Your child and the parenallowedwith your chid must purchase an escort permit at the ticket counter in order to guide your child from or to the gate.
Only 2 adults and 2 minor child passengers are allowed to go past the point of security.
You must arrive a minimum of 90 mins in advance to get your tickets to the escort.
If the escort card is not accessible (likely the case in Canada or Mexico or in airports where the security checkpoint is been shut) an agent of Alaska Airlines will meet you at the security checkpoint, and take your child to the gate.
The person who is the guardian of your child has to remain in the boarding area until the time your child's flight is scheduled to depart.
The guardian responsible for picking up your child should be identified on the form for guardianship and must have an acceptable photo ID.
A form of contact for guardianship is required in the terminal.
If you will be meeting the child's parents in a different city, you need to notify Alaska Airlines Reservations at 1-800-252-7522 or +1-802-231-1806 (TTY 711: dial 711 for Relay Services) before your child's flight takes off.
