The Anamalai Tiger Reserve, originally the Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary, is a protected area located in Tamil Nadu, India's Western Ghat's Anamalai Mountain Ranges. In 2007, an Anamalai Tiger Reserve was formed there, and the area was eventually given the designation Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park.
If you want to visit a place with mangrove forests, teak plantations, bamboo groves, and stunning landscapes with your family, the Anamalai Tiger Reserve is the ideal location. The Panther, Tiger, Elephant, Deer, Wild Dogs, Civets, Porcupines, Jackals, Black-headed Oriole, Red Treepie, and Racket-tailed Drongo are just a few of the many varied animals and birds that call it home.
We have given you a thorough guide that describes how to get there, when is the best time to visit Anamalai Tiger Reserve, what to do there, and much more to make it simpler for you to plan your itinerary.
