Importing OLM (Outlook for Mac) emails into Windows Outlook can be done manually using the following steps. This process involves creating a new PST (Personal Storage Table) file in Windows Outlook and then importing the OLM data into this PST file.
Step 1: Export OLM Data from Outlook for Mac
Open Outlook for Mac.
Go to the "File" menu.
Select "Export."
Choose "Outlook for Mac Data File (.olm)" as the export file type.
Select the data you want to export, such as emails, contacts, calendars, etc.
Choose a location to save the OLM file and click "Save."
Wait for Outlook for Mac to export your data to the OLM file.
Step 2: Import OLM Data into Windows Outlook
Open Windows Outlook on your PC.
Go to the "File" tab in the Outlook menu.
Under "Account Information," select "Open & Export," and then choose "Import/Export."
In the Import and Export Wizard:
Select "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."
Choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)" as the file type to import from and click "Next."
Browse and select the OLM file you exported earlier in the "Import Outlook Data File" dialog.
Choose the options for importing:
If you want to import everything, select the top-level folder (usually with your email address) and ensure that "Include subfolders" is checked.
You can also specify the location in your Outlook where you want to import the data. Choose "Import items into the same folder in" and select the target folder.
Click "Finish" to begin the import process.
If the OLM file is password-protected, enter the password when prompted.
Wait for Outlook to complete the import process. The time required may vary depending on the size of the OLM file.
Once the import is finished, you will find the OLM data in the specified folder within your Windows Outlook.
