Many employers require lifeguard training since lifeguards work with the public and are responsible for people’s safety in aquatic environments. This job requires special skills and knowledge that can only be obtained through lifeguard classes or a lifeguarding course offered at your local community center.
For example, Lifeguards are expected to have good physical fitness and mental preparedness for the lifeguard job. This is why lifeguards must be certified by attending lifeguard training classes.
The
lifeguard certification you receive from American Lifeguard Association is valid for two years. After two years, you will need to retake the lifeguard certification class to maintain your lifeguard status. We offer the following classes and programs for a lifeguard.
