To manually convert OST emails to PST format for Outlook, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Create a New PST File in Outlook
Open Microsoft Outlook and go to the "File" tab.
Click on "New" and select "Outlook Data File."
Choose "Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)" and click "OK."
Select the location and provide a name for the new PST file. Click "OK" to create it.
Step 2: Export OST Data to the New PST File
In Outlook, go to the "File" tab and click on "Open & Export."
Choose "Import/Export" from the options.
Select "Export to a file" and click "Next."
Choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)" and click "Next."
Select the OST file you want to export and check the box for "Include subfolders" if needed.
Browse and select the newly created PST file as the destination.
Choose the option to "Replace duplicates with items exported" or "Allow duplicate items to be created."
Click "Finish" to start the export process.
Step 3: Import PST File to Outlook
In Outlook, go to the "File" tab and click on "Open & Export."
Choose "Import/Export" from the options.
Select "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."
Choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)" and click "Next."
Browse and select the PST file you previously exported.
Choose the option to import the data to your existing folders or create a new PST file.
Click "Finish" to start the import process.
