To install a Canon IJ printer on your device using ij.start.canon, follow these steps:
Open your web browser and go to ij.start.canon.
Select your region and country.
Select the model of your Canon IJ printer.
Click the Download button to download the printer driver for your device.
Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer driver.
Once the printer driver is installed, connect your printer to your device using a USB cable or Wi-Fi.
If you are using a USB cable, make sure that the cable is properly connected to both your printer and your device.
If you are using Wi-Fi, make sure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device.
Once your printer is connected, you can add it to your device's list of printers.
To add your printer to your device's list of printers, follow the steps below:
On Mac:
Click the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
Click Printers & Scanners.
Click the + button and select Add Printer or Scanner.
Select your printer from the list of printers and click Add.
If your printer is not listed, click Other Printers or Scanners and then click Add.
Select the Canon printer driver and click Add.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
On Windows:
Click the Start button and select Settings.
Click Devices.
Click Printers & scanners.
Click Add a printer or scanner.
Select your printer from the list of printers and click Add.
If your printer is not listed, click The printer that I want isn't listed and then click Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.
Select the Use an existing port option and then select the port that your printer is connected to.
Select the Canon printer driver and click Next.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
