Check and Adjust Windows User Permissions:
Log in to your computer with Administrator rights.
Right-click on the folder where the error occurred (typically a temporary folder or the folder where QuickBooks is installed).
Select "Properties" and go to the "Security" tab.
Ensure that the Administrator and your user account have Full Control permissions.
If the permissions are not set correctly, click "Edit," then "Add," and add your user account with Full Control. Apply the changes.
Disable Antivirus and Security Software:
Temporarily disable your antivirus or security software, as they may be preventing the installation process from modifying files.
Install or Update QuickBooks:
Attempt to install or update QuickBooks again.
Ensure that your installation source is not damaged, and you have a stable internet connection if you are updating.
