In 2012, Rupert Murdoch announced that News Corporation would be split into two publishing and media-oriented companies: a new News Corporation, and 21st Century Fox, which operated the Fox Entertainment Group and 20th Century Fox and other studios.  fox news breaking news has announced it's launching a new channel on Freeview, the UK's hugely popular free to air TV platform. The broadcaster already operates a number of successful pay-TV channels, including FOX, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo WILD, in the UK.  The FOX News app is available for download on Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV. You can also cast from your mobile app to a Chromecast device. Once logged in with your pay TV credentials, you'll be able to watch FOX News Channel and FOX Business. Fox is named after what was then called 20th Century Fox—during that time, its original film studio had its hyphen between "Century" and "Fox" removed once it was purchased by Rupert Murdoch's Australian conglomerate News Corporation a couple years prior, but its corporate sibling would split in 2013 as its own
