I need to update my Payroll Tax Table and Change the Folder’s name, but I am facing this error saying QuickBooks Payroll Not Working every time I do it. Help me out with the correct steps.
So, if you are updating Payroll Tax Table and facing this
QuickBooks Payroll Not Working error, make sure to check your network connectivity first, then carry out the given steps:
- Go to the main menu and select the Employees tab and look for the option saying Get payroll updates.
Next, directly hit the Download Entire Payroll Update button.
And choose the Update option.
Now, after the download finishes, the screen will flash a message saying the same; press OK in the message tab.
However, if the payroll tax table update does not work in your favor, then perform the following step:
Directly go to C:\ ProgramFiles\ Intuit\ QuickBooks20xx\ Components\ Payroll\ CPS
Then change CPS folder name and add the old at the end.
Now, try to update the payroll tax table, and it will work.
